20th - 29th November: The APPG hosted Parliamentary hearings on abortion in the developing world and the UK
24th November: Baroness Jenny Tonge gave the welcoming speech at the BPAS dinner on the 50th anniversary of the Abortion Act 1967
6th - 11th November: The APPG went on a study tour to Ethiopia to look at family planning and sexual and reproductive health services.
2nd - 3rd November: Baroness Jenny Tonge attended the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health annual conference
24th- 25th October: Baroness Jenny Tonge attended a BPAS conference at the Royal College of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians to mark 50 years of the Abortion Act 1967
17th October: Members attended UNFPA’s State of The World Population 2017 report launch in London
5th October: Members attended BPAS’ event marking 50 years of the UK Abortion Act, in Speaker’s House, House of Commons
26th - 28th September: The APPG secretariat attended EuroNGOs’ annual conference in Brussels
28th - 29th August: Baroness Jenny Tonge attended the EPF ICPD Strategic Discussion with Parliamentarians and UNFPA in Geneva
11th July: Members attended the London Family Planning Summit hosted by DFID, The Gates Foundation and UNFPA
11th July: The APPG , alongside IPPF and UNFPA, hosted World Population Day reception in the House of Lords. Baroness Jenny Tonge gave the keynote speech
10th July: Several events took place prior to World Population Day which various members attended, including a Margaret Pyke and PSN population event, and the Family Planning Summit evening reception hosted by DFID, the Gates Foundation and UNFPA
6th July: The APPG hosted a press luncheon for the press and women’s magazines in the run up to World Population Day.
